Tegron Specialty was founded in May 2021 by Paul Shore and Beat Capital Partners to initially focus on bringing new capacity to the challenged Directors and Officers insurance market. The company started underwriting in June 2021 via a Lloyd’s Consortium led by Beat Syndicate 4242.<\/p>\n

Tegron is the brand behind the Consortium which is led by Beat Syndicate 4242 (s4242) and operates through Asta Managing Agency.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Paul Shore<\/h6>\n

Chief Executive Officer<\/p>\n

\n

Paul is the Founder of Tegron Specialty Limited. Before Tegron, Paul had spent nearly 12 years at Navigators initially running the Lloyds D&O portfolio and latterly Head of Financial Lines, International at The Hartford after the acquisition. Prior to that Paul was the Commercial D&O Manager at Starr Excess, an AIG Company. Paul has been operating in the Insurance Industry since 1996.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Ray Pallett<\/h6>\n

Chief Underwriting Officer<\/p>\n

\n

Ray has held senior roles in broking and underwriting across both D&O and FI over the past 20 years.  Ray spent 6 years at Navigators\/Hartford where he led and developed the Financial Institutions portfolio.  Previously Ray worked at Lockton Financial Risks division where he worked with international clients across the private and public sector and within the Asset Manager industry.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

John Cavanagh<\/h6>\n

John has accumulated 45 years of experience and expertise in the insurance and reinsurance market. Having been joint CEO of RK Carvill, John joined Willis Re in 2009 until he retired in 2017 as Global CEO.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Kiran Shergill<\/h6>\n

Senior Underwriter<\/p>\n

After graduating with a Law degree from the University of Manchester, Kiran gained a place on the Lloyd’s of London graduate scheme completing a series of placements across the London Insurance Market. Kiran went on to secure a role as an Assistant Underwriter within the Legal Expenses Insurance division at AmTrust Europe. In 2017, Kiran made the move over to Commercial D&O Insurance as an Underwriter at Tokio Marine HCC. She has since worked on a wide range of public and private D&O risks across a breadth of industries and territories. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Daniel Brennan<\/h6>\n

Assistant Underwriter<\/p>\n

Dan has joined Tegron Specialty as Assistant Underwriter after completing a successful placement as part of the Lloyd\u2019s of London graduate scheme. As well as underwriting, Dan will also focus on building out Tegron\u2019s Operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His career started at AXA XL in the Core Operations team, working on Brexit preparedness. Since then, Dan has finished the two-year Lloyd\u2019s programme, experiencing a data focused role within the Lloyd\u2019s Corporation as well as a role with another entity from within the Beat group, Brace Underwriting Limited. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Abi Lamb<\/h6>\n

Assistant Underwriter<\/p>\n

\n

Abi has joined Tegron with four years\u2019 experience working in the insurance industry, both in London and internationally. Most recently she worked at The Hartford where she secured a role as an Assistant Underwriter in International Casualty, and prior to that as an Underwriting Assistant in Financial Lines. Abi studied Law with Canadian Law at The University of Nottingham, and Western University in Ontario. After completing her degree, she moved to Toronto and began her insurance career at Everest Insurance Company of Canada in 2018. She is currently studying for her ACIIs and plans to develop her underwriting specialism in FI and D&O.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Rachel Edefughe<\/h6>\n

Underwriting Assistant<\/p>\n

Rachel has recently joined the insurance industry as an Underwriting Assistant for Tegron. She plans to further expand her knowledge within the industry, especially within the D&O market. Since joining Tegron, Rachel has started her ACIIs and has also enrolled into FastStart which is a 1-year programme run by Empower Development.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Frank Parish<\/h6>\n

After graduating with a degree in Business Management and Finance from St Mary\u2019s University, Frank has recently joined Tegron Specialty as an Underwriting Assistant. He is eager to expand his knowledge within the insurance industry and specifically within the D&O and FI markets.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Jonathan Gormley<\/h6>\n

Head of Claims<\/p>\n

Jonathan joined from AEGIS London where he was Head of Claims Operations. Jonathan has over 25 years\u2019 experience handling claims in the Lloyd\u2019s market across multiple lines of business and has overseen the market response on some of the largest catastrophe losses. Jonathan currently co-chairs the LMA Delegated Authority Claims Group and received the LMA \u2018Claims Contribution\u2019 award in 2019.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n
